This Indian masala chai is the real deal; its black tea base meets bold, sharp cloves and star anise join cardamon, cinnamon and ginger for an assertively spicy mix.
– Loose leaf
– Black tea, cloves, cardamon, cinnamon, star anise, ginger
– Complex and spicy
– For a quick fix add 1 teaspoon per 200mls, brew 2-3 minutes in water
– Brew in the traditional Indian fashion by placing water and chai into a small saucepan and bring to the boil, add equal parts milk and sugar (if desired) and return to low heat. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Add honey at end (if desired)
