How it works
Using the French press system is the simplest way to prepare rich and tasty coffee.1. Put the BRAZIL down on a flat surface, hold the handle firmly and pull the plunger up and out of the container.
2. Add one rounded teaspoon, or one Bodum scoop, of coarsely ground coffee, to each cup/118 ml of water.
3. Pour hot water into the container (about 92-96 oC), leaving at least a 2.5 cm/1 inch margin on top, and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon.
4. Place the plunger unit over the container and screw the cap on so that the spout is closed to retain heat.
5. Allow to infuse for four minutes, then lower the plunger slowly. Unscrew the lid to open the spout and pour your delicious cup of coffee.
Use and Care
Before using the machine, wash it with warm soapy water and dry it well. All parts are dishwasher safe.
